Iteration #30: Determination

IMG_8694

Determined to maintain some sort of balance in my life, despite the fact that recently it has been coming at me from all sides. I also decided to use this episode to inaugurate my new digital recorder.

Colophon: Musical samples from the Beatles, Genesis, and Sloan. Intro and outro from part of a remixed tune by Brad Sucks. Toolbox for #30 includes my new Sony ICD-UX200 recorder which joins the rest of my trusty kit: Powershot SD600, Thinkpad X201i, iTunes, VLC media player, Audacity, Mp3tag, Picasa, Photoshop CS3, Flickr, and Blogger. Shout-outs to the Scarborough Dude.

Back and doing much better, thank you! Thoughts on the importance of balancing work and home, an update on some recent accomplishments, and more.

Intro and outro from part of a remixed tune by Brad Sucks. Iteration #28: Compression

Iteration #28 (~41MB, mp3)

A somewhat self-indulgent trip through a rough week, ending with, I hope, a better understanding of my tolerances. (FWIW, I had considered scrapping all these clips and pretending that none of it ever happened. In the end, however, I felt it important to include them, if only for the record. Not all iterations are going to be rainbows and unicorns...)

Music: Nirvana, Coldplay, and Better than Ezra. Intro and outro from part of a remixed tune by Brad Sucks.
